Roma came from a goal down to beat Serie B side Triestina 3-1 and move into the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia.
Triestina stunned the home side when they broke the deadlock after just five minutes courtesy of Luigi Della Rocca's penalty.
Roma drew level on the stroke of half time when Matteo Brighi found the net after Triestina failed to clear their lines properly.
Mirko Vucinic gave Roma the lead on the hour mark after a sublime one-two with French winger Jeremy Menez.
Julio Baptista made the game safe with a third ten minutes from time when he scored from a free-kick from the edge of the box.
Serie A leaders Inter progressed from the last 16 in December with a 1-0 win over Livorno, while the remaining six fixtures take place on Wednesday and Thursday.
