Lazio, Bologna and Torino remain in the hunt for Coppa Italia glory after fourth round successes tonight.
Lazio currently set the pace in Serie A after an impressive start to the season and maintained that form in the knock-out competition.
Goals in either half from Cristian Ledesma and Goran Pandev helped Delio Rossi's side to a 2-0 win at home to Atalanta.
The Biancocelesti, who have won the Coppa Italia four times - the last in 2004, will now meet AC Milan in the last 16.
Bologna put the pain of four consecutive defeats in the league behind them as they saw off Ascoli 1-0 at Stadio Renato Dell'Arta.
On loan Brazilian defender Coelho grabbed the only goal of the game with seven minutes remaining to book their safe passage to a round five tie against holders Roma.
Elsewhere, Torino needed extra-time before sealing an entertaining 3-2 success over Serie B outfit Livorno.
Eugenio Corini gave the top flight side the lead after just seven minutes, before Alessandro Diamanti levelled matters on 18 minutes.
Paolo Zanetti restored Toro's advantage moments before the break, only to see Diamanti snatch his second of the game from the penalty spot with just three minutes left on the clock.
However, four minutes into extra-time Simeone Barone found the target to ensure their would be no shock in Turin and a match against Fiorentina to look forward to.
The fourth round will be completed tomorrow night when Genoa face Lega Pro outfit Ravenna.
