Guberti to decide on Bari future

Bari midfielder Stefano Guberti says he will decide whether to stay or move on at the end of the season.

Stefano GubertiGuberti, who has starred in the Galletti's promotion to Serie A for the first time in eight years, has attracted interest from several top-flight clubs but he wants to wait until the season concludes before deciding his future.

"No one at the beginning of the season would have imagined that Bari would be able to win promotion," the 24-year-old said. "But we have finally fulfilled our wishes and that of an entire city. We have achieved a dream.

"Now we would like to win the championship against Modena on Saturday in front of our own fans. Another small gift to our great fans."

Guberti, who signed from Ascoli on a short term deal in January, will be a free transfer in the summer and Roma, Juventus and AC Milan have all been linked with his signature.

"I think Bari will talk with me at the end of the season and then we'll see if there will be the opportunity to remain.

"Being honest, I have to say that I will have to assess the other offers I have received and that is normal. It is going to be hard to say no to some of the best teams in Italy.

"But for now, I just want to enjoy the celebrations," he concluded.
