Siena have beaten Lazio to secure the services of Romanian international defender Cosmin Moti.
A number of Italian sides had been watching the towering centre-back, but he initially insisted that he wanted to stay with Dinamo Bucharest.
However, the bright lights of Serie A proved too hard to resist and Moti agreed to join compatriot Paul Codrea at Siena, rather than Stefan Radu at Lazio.
"He has signed for Siena on loan with the option to make the deal permanent," agent Giovanni Becali told Dire.
"It's the same formula that the deal would have taken had he chosen to sign for Lazio."
Meanwhile, Bologna have bought Davide Marchini from Triestina in a similar type of loan agreement.
