Serie A Week 12: Rescheduled Match

Atalanta came from behind to beat AC Milan 2-1 in their rearranged clash in Bergamo tonight.

ATALANTA 2-1 AC MILAN
The game was played behind closed doors after the original match in November was abandoned early on due to disturbances in the crowd. Milan went in front on 16 minutes when Gennaro Gattuso saw his volley deflect off Cristiano Doni and into the net. Atalanta drew level on three minutes before the break when Antonio Langella beat two challenges before driving the ball past Milan keeper Zeljko Kalac. The home side grabbed the winner on 68 minutes when Fernando Tissone converted Simone Inzaghi's pass. The win moves Atalanta up to sixth spot while Milan drop to tenth place and the defeat is a real blow to their hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League. It leaves them 10 points behind Fiorentina although the Rossoneri still have two games in hand.
