Japan defender Yuto Nagatomo has joined newly-promoted Serie A side Cesena on a one-year loan deal from FC Tokyo.
The 23-year-old left-back impressed during the FIFA World Cup and played every minute of his country's four matches at the tournament in South Africa.
His loan deal has an option to make the move to the Stadio Dino Manuzzi permanent next summer.
Nagatomo made his international debut in May 2008 against the Ivory Coast. He has three international goals from 30 appearances.
