Serie A - Week 34: Saturday Review

Serie A strugglers Livorno slipped closer towards relegation wih a 2-0 loss at Chievo, Sergio Pellissier and Elvis Abbruscato the players on target in Verona.

Chievo 2-0 Livorno
Chievo look to have wrapped up their Serie A future after pushing Livorno even closer to relegation with a 2-0 win at the Stadio Bentegodi. Sergio Pellissier scored the first goal of a lacklustre encounter on the half-hour mark before Elvis Abbruscato added a second two minutes from time to take the Flying Donkeys 10 points clear of the bottom three with four games remaining. The defeat leaves Livorno rooted to the bottom of the table, nine points adrift of safety, although that gap could become 12 on Sunday with just four games to go, practically confirming the Tuscan outfit's immediate return to Serie B.
