[Mercato] Storari joins Samp on loan

Sampdoria have signed goalkeeper Marco Storari on loan from AC Milan until the end of the season.

The 33-year-old former Messina and Cagliari goalkeeper started the campaign as first choice at Milan.

He appeared seven times in Serie A and twice in the UEFA Champions League, but after suffering a thigh injury in October lost the No1 jersey to Nelson Dida.

Sampdoria were in the market for a goalkeeper after Luca Castellazzi suffered a knee injury, which will keep him out of action for about two months.
