Lazio-Reggina match moved forward

The Lega Calcio have announced that this weekend's Week 37 match between Lazio and Reggina has been moved forward to Wednesday evening.

Lazio celebrate Coppa triumphItalian football's governing body had to reschedule the penultimate fixture of the season at the request of UEFA, who want to prepare the Stadio Olimpico for the final of the UEFA Champions League next week.

While Lazio have successfully achieved a place in the inaugural UEFA Europa League by winning the Coppa Italia last week, Reggina are battling for their top-flight status.

A defeat in Rome on Wednesday night will see the Amaranto, who currently sit four points adrift of Torino and Serie A safety, relegated to Serie B with one game remaining.

A draw or even a win may not be enough either if results go against them when the rest of the Week 37 fixtures are played simultaneously on Sunday afternoon.
