UC Draw: Udinese face Bremen in last eight

Udinese have been paired with Werder Bremen in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup following today's draw for the remaining rounds of the competition in Switzerland.

The Zebrette reached the last eight for the first time in the club's history with a 2-1 aggregate victory over holders Zenit St Petersburg on Thursday night.

Pasquale Marino's side will now face Bundesliga outfit Bremen, who knocked out AC Milan in the Round of 32, for a place in the semi finals against the winners of Hamburg and Manchester City.

Udinese will travel to Bremen's Weserstadion for the first leg on April 9, before hosting the return at the Stadio Friuli on April 16.

The other half of the draw sees Dynamo Kiev and Shakhtar Donetsk, Ukraine's first-ever UEFA Cup quarter-finalists, both take on French sides in the last eight against Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille respectively.

The semi finals will also be played over two legs on April 30 and May 7 while the final will be held at Fenerbahce's Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey on Wednesday 20 May.
