[Coppa Italia] Juve squeeze through

Juventus have secured progression to the Copa Italia semi-finals with a sudden death penalty shootout win over Napoli in the Stadio Olimpico.

Juventus p0-0 NapoliDisallowed goals from Juventus' Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet and some wayward finishing from Napoli's Marcelo Zalayeta ensured the tie went to extra time and the inevitable penalties.

Walter Gargano missed the decisive penalty for Napoli, blazing over the bar after Nicola Legrottaglie had converted previously for the home side as Claudio Ranieri's men squeeze through 4-3 on penalties.

The Turin side will now face Lazio in the last four in March and April. Inter will play Sampdoria in the other two-legged semi final.
