Beckham in Milan UEFA list; Quaresma out for Inter

AC Milan have confirmed David Beckham has been included on their UEFA squad list, while Inter have left out summer signing Ricardo Quaresma from their updated list.

Beckham has been in impressive form since joining Milan last month and it has been widely reported he will stay beyond March 9, when he is due back at parent club the Los Angeles Galaxy.

The 33-year-old will be available for both legs of the Rossoneri's last-32 tie against Werder Bremen on February 18 and 26.

"We have included Beckham in the UEFA Cup list because he is doing very well," Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti said after Sunday's 3-0 win over Lazio.

"We want to take advantage of his form for the two games against Werder Bremen."

Meanwhile, Italy's other participants in the UEFA Cup and UEFA Champions League updated and confirmed their squads for the second half of the European season.

The big news comes from league leaders Inter who have excluded Portuguese winger Quaresma from their 25-man squad list.

The £20million summer signing from FC Porto joins Hernan Crespo, who was also left out.

Roma were able to add late new signing Marco Motta into their squad and kept Christian Panucci, while Fiorentina, Juventus, Sampdoria and Udinese remain largely unchanged.
