Kaka in the dark over injury

AC Milan playmaker Ricardo Kaka is uncertain as to when he will return to play for the club.

Ricardo KakaKaka, who missed Sunday's 4-2 defeat at Juventus through injury, underwent tests earlier today which ruled out a hernia problem.

However, the Brazil international prefers to remain cautious as to when he will be available for selection.

"It's nothing serious," said Kaka. "The tests done today showed that I have a pelvic imflammation.

"I hope to recover as soon as possible, otherwise I will return to play in 2009.

"It could be that I will be fit to play tomorrow but also that I may need two or three months to recover."

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping to have Kaka fit as soon as possible with his squad having already been hit by injury woes this month.

Midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has been ruled out for the rest of the campaign having undergone knee surgery while defender Daniele Bonera also went under the knife with a hernia injury.

Milan take on Wolfsburg in the UEFA Cup on Wednesday before hosting Udinese at the San Siro on Sunday in their final game of the year.
