Italy U-21 coach Pierluigi Casiraghi has been forced to call up three replacements to his squad following injuries ahead of Tuesday night's friendly with Germany.
Over the weekend, Casiraghi had to shuffle the pack with Vicenza midfielder Piermario Morosini and Fiorentina striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo having to pull out.
And the latest news is that Cagliari forward Robert Acquafresca has withdrawn after suffering a thigh injury in yesterday's win over Fiorentina.
Parma striker Alberto Paloschi replaces Acquafresca, while Vicenza's Davide Bottone and Davide Di Gennaro of Reggina have been called up to bolster the squad for the trip.
