Juventus defender Dario Knezevic will undergo exploratory surgery to remove a piece of cartilage from his left knee on Sunday after sustaining the injury during a 2-1 win at Bologna in midweek.
The 26-year-old Croatian international, who has played three times in Serie A and once in the Champions League since joining the Bianconeri from Livorno in the summer, will therefore miss Saturday's Serie A clash with Roma.
He will also miss next Wednesday's Champions League trip to Real Madrid.
Knezevic joins a lengthy injury list which also includes Gianluigi Buffon, Claudio Marchisio, Christian Poulsen, David Trezeguet, Cristiano Zanetti, Jonathan Zebina and Hasan Salihamidzic.
