Juve, Fiorentina and Napoli await Euro fate

The draw for the UEFA Champions League third preliminary round takes place at 11am and Juventus and Fiorentina will be keen to avoid Atletico Madrid.

Serie A's third and fourth representatives in Europe's showpiece event need to ensure that they reach the tournament proper and avoid a disastrous fall at the first hurdle.

But while both Juve and Fiorentina are seeded and should face less illustrious opponents, there are some tough draws available.

Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are the obvious giants in the non-seed half of the draw, but Turkish outfit Galatasaray are also a stern test.

Ukrainian powerhouse Dynamo Kiev would be tough, presuming they conquer Irish minnows Drogheda United, as would Sparta Prague of the Czech Republic.

After their Intertoto Cup triumph, Napoli will also discover their opponents for the UEFA Cup second qualifying round.

The draw has been split into geographical regions and the Partenopei are in the Southern Group 2 seeding bracket.

Champions League seedings
