"We will wear the jerseys with the logo of World champions from the September 6 match onwards," announced Italian Football Federation President Giancarlo Abete.
"FIFA have authorised us to take this step."
The Azzurri lifted the trophy in 2006 and begin qualification for the 2010 tournament in South Africa.
The debut match for this special shirt will be on September 6 against Cyprus.
This means it will not be on show when Marcello Lippi makes his 'debut' in a friendly with Austria on August 20.
"We begin this journey in Nice on August 20 and hope it will be a wonderful adventure."
