[Mercato] Reggina capture Corradi

Reggina have completed the signature of Manchester City striker Bernardo Corradi.

The 32-year-old Tuscan hitman joined the Citizens from Valencia in the summer of 2006 but made an inauspicious start to life in the Premier League when he was sent off on his debut.

Corradi never shone in Manchester and had to wait 13 games for his first goal with his disciplinary problems mounting.

After spending the latter part of last season on loan to Parma, Corradi announced that he would rather stay in Italy and that will now happen.

Reggina reached an agreement with Manchester City and has signed a one-year deal at the Stadio Granillo.

The Calabrians have also swooped for Chilean Under-23 international Carlos Emilio Carmona Tello, who shone at last May's Toulon Tournament.

Carmona joins from Chilean side O'Higgins and has put pen to paper on a contract that expires in 2013.

Meanwhile, Dane Niki Nielsen has agreed the mutual rescission of his contract at Reggina.
