Udinese have swooped to sign young Chilean winger Nicolas Corvetto who turned heads at last month's Toulon Tournament.
The 22-year-old joins compatriots Mauricio Isla and Alexis Sanchez at the Stadio Friuli as the Zebrette continue to shop in South America.
Corvetto has been a regular performer for Audax Italiano – a club of Italian origin who play in Chile's Primera Division – and has impressed sufficiently to earn the call to Serie A.
It is likely that Corvetto will be sent on loan next term to gain experience and he may spend his maiden Italian campaign in the Second Division.
Udinese will look to add several new recruits this summer ahead of next season's UEFA Cup campaign.
