Inter's Patrick Vieira enjoyed this Scudetto more than last year, although Julio Cesar admits he was "a little worried!"
The Scudetto went down to the wire and only a late brace from Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the final half-hour of the season secured it for Inter.
"This title is more enjoyable than last year," grinned Vieira. "My compliments to Roma, who gave their all, but I think at the end of the day the best team won."
However, the former Juventus midfielder was cagey when asked if it would be enough to keep Roberto Mancini on the bench.
"This is the time to celebrate, not to talk about who is staying or going."
If the midfielder never lacked confidence, the same was not entirely true of goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
"It wasn’t right to let the Scudetto slip away in the final match. Admittedly, when we heard Roma were leading, then I was a little worried, but my teammates did well.
"At the end, what should have happened did happen."
