AC Milan vice-President Adriano Galliani has revealed that young star Yoann Gourcuff is set to return to France next season on loan at Bordeaux.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder was named by Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud as one of their main transfer targets this summer.
Galliani announced the news while the deal to take the forward back to France was not yet sealed but at an advanced stage.
"There's nothing official as yet but Gourcuff will return to Ligue 1, on loan to Bordeaux," he told Corriere dello Sport.
Gourcuff joined Milan from Rennes in 2006, but as yet has failed to win a permanent place in Carlo Ancelotti's side.
