Inter coach Roberto Mancini is confident his side have the Scudetto in their grasp, regardless of what Roma do.
The Giallorossi’s 3-2 victory over Genoa on Saturday put pressure on the leaders after reducing the gap to one point, but they reacted by beating Atalanta 2-0 in Bergamo today to restore their four-point advantage.
"Are we worried by Roma? In all honesty, no. Success in this campaign is only up to us," Mancini said.
"In the last two seasons our fans have been spoilt by record-breaking victories, but results like last term happen once every 50 years."
Patrick Vieira opened the scoring in the first half before youngster Mario Balotelli secured the vital three points for the Nerazzurri.
"It was a good game in a tough arena against a team that is going through an excellent period of form," added Mancini.
Inter welcome Fiorentina to the San Siro next weekend while Luciano Spalletti takes his Roma side to his former club Udinese as the race for the Scudetto continues.
