Lazio have signed Newcastle United defender David Rozehnal on loan for the remainder of the season – just seven months after joining the Premier League side.
Rozehnal, 27, moved to Newcastle in June from Paris Saint-Germain of France for a €3.9m fee and made 21 top-flight appearances in the first half of the campaign.
The Czech international will fill the gap created at the Stadio Olimpico by Guglielmo Stendardo's loan transfer to Serie A rivals Juventus.
Meanwhile, the English club are reported to have secured the signature of Atalanta's Fabio Zamblera on a four-year contract.
The 17-year-old striker, who is believed to be costing €400,000, is a member of the Bergamo club's youth team and has yet to make a senior appearance.
