Juventus are planning a double swoop for Werder Bremen midfielder Diego and Hamburg captain Rafael Van der Vaart, according to reports.
The duo are hot property in the Bundesliga and are thought to have caught the eye of a number of clubs across Europe.
And Hamburg have confirmed they have received contact from Juventus regarding £15m-rated Van der Vaart.
"We are in discussions with Juventus, but we can't say any more at this stage," Hamburg spokesman Joern Wolf told SID.
Van der Vaart is under contract until 2010, but due to a clause in his contract he can leave the Nordbank Arena at the end of the season for £1.1m.
And the 24-year-old has rejected a contract extension with Hamburg and is believed to desire a move away from Germany.
Meanwhile, Werder's director of sport Klaus Allofs has denied rumours of an approach from Juve for Diego.
"There is no inquiry from Juventus, and we will not talk with any clubs about signing Diego. He is a firm part of our plans," added Allofs.
