French midfielder Ousmane Dabo has returned to Lazio after an 18-month absence, rejoining the club following a spell in England with Manchester City.
The 30-year-old has signed a two-year-and-a half contract with the Biancocelesti after passing a medical on Wednesday morning.
Dabo, who will turn 31 next month, joined City from Lazio in the summer of 2006 but failed to settle and has not featured at all under Sven-Goran Eriksson in the Premier League this season.
In Italy Dabo, who has played for Atalanta, Vicenza, Parma and Inter, will link up again with his former team-mate Rolando Bianchi, who last week joined Lazio on loan from City until the end of the season with an option for a permanent deal.
Lazio are 14th in Serie A with 20 points from as many matches and meet UC Sampdoria at home on Sunday.
