Inter-Lazio and Roma-Cagliari have been rescheduled after they were postponed in the light of last weekend’s tragic events.
The Week 12 San Siro clash between leaders Inter and struggling Lazio and high-flying Roma’s encounter with Cagliari will now take place on Wednesday December 5 at 1930 (UK Time).
Both games were called off when 26-year-old Lazio fan Gabriele Sandri was accidentally shot by a police officer at a motorway service station near Arezzo.
Meanwhile, it remains to be seen what action will be taken after the game between Atalanta and Milan was abandoned in Bergamo.
The game was stopped after just seven minutes at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia when a section of the home supporters smashed the safety glass separating them from the pitch to protest against the game going ahead.
It remains to be seen what action will be taken but reports in Italy suggest that the Rossoneri could be handed a 3-0 win.
It is still uncertain whether the Serie A campaign will be suspended or not. Serie B and C games were cancelled this weekend, but Euro 2008 qualifiers mean that there are no top-flight games scheduled.
