[FIXTURE CHANGES] Milan and Lazio brought forward

The Serie A fixture changes to Week 3 have been confirmed this afternoon, with Milan and Lazio brought forward to the Saturday.

The next round will intercede with the start of the Champions League, so these dates must be taken into account when organising the Italian calendar.

Milan open the weekend at Siena’s Stadio Artemio Franchi at 1700 (UK time), while Lazio welcome Empoli to the Stadio Olimpico at 1930. The Sunday night match will be a relegation dogfight between Parma and Cagliari at the Stadio Tardini.

This reserves the potentially fascinating Juventus-Udinese, Napoli-Sampdoria and Palermo-Torino games for the Sunday afternoon kick-off.

Meanwhile, most of the Serie B Week 3 games have been confirmed for this Sunday afternoon at 1400. The only exception is Brescia-Piacenza, moved to September 18 at 1400 because the Rondinelle have eight players away on international duty.

All kick-off times stated are UK time (+1hr for Italy).

Week 3:
Saturday 15 September
Siena v Milan (1700)
Lazio v Empoli (1930)
Sunday 16 September
Fiorentina v Atalanta, Genoa v Livorno, Inter v Catania, Juventus v Udinese, Napoli v Sampdoria, Palermo v Torino, Reggina v Roma (all 1400)
Parma v Cagliari (1930)
