The first game of the 2007-08 Serie A season will be Lazio-Torino.
The Lega Calcio announced the changes to the fixture list today and once again Italian football lovers will see the weekend split over three kick-off times.
The Stadio Olimpico hosts the opening match on Saturday August 25 at 18.00 local time, 17.00 in the UK, between Lazio and Torino. That evening at 1930 (UK time) Juventus mark their return to the top flight against Livorno in Turin.
Roma travel to Palermo for the big Sunday night showdown, leaving Scudetto holders Inter with Udinese and Genoa-Milan on Sunday afternoon.
Week 2 undergoes some unusual changes, as Milan will be in Montecarlo on Friday August 31 for the European Super Cup against Sevilla.
So their intriguing encounter with Fiorentina will be moved to Monday September 3 with a 17.00 UK time kick-off.
This means there is no Saturday afternoon fixture, but Empoli-Inter is on that evening and Sampdoria-Lazio sees Roberto Mancini return to his Marassi roots on Sunday night.
