Inter will have to wait until May 27 to get their hands on the Scudetto trophy after their title party was postponed.
The Nerazzurri were all set to be officially crowned Campioni d’Italia by the Lega Calcio on the evening of May 22 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
However, the Milanese giants have today confirmed that the official party will now take place after the final League game against Torino at the San Siro.
The event will see past players and Inter supporting celebrities attend the ceremony after the last game of the season.
Meanwhile, a group of Italian politicians have put forward a proposal to name after Giacinto Facchetti a street in the Italian city of Viterbo.
The former Inter player, captain and President sadly died late last year after a long battle against illness. The four local council representatives, "divided by politics but united by their faith for the Nerazzurri", have described Facchetti as "a champion in sport and life", and "an example for young people".
The Milan giants have already dedicated their 15th Italian Championship to the former Azzurri international defender.
