The official Assembly of the FIGC for the election of the new president and the new federal board has been set for Monday, April 2nd.
The provision was signed today by the Extraordinary Commissioner Luca Pancalli and foresees a second call for Monday, April 16th, so that in any case the elections will be guaranteed before April 18th, when the 2012 European Championships will be assigned in Cardiff.
"Our project is an excellent one," said Pancalli on a radio interview. "With the Government and the football authorities we worked well and I am confident. We have reassured UEFA on the length of time required to renovate the stadiums and I appreciated the construction projects of three new facilities in Turin, Naples and Palermo."
