Night games return early

Serie A football will resume with evening kick-offs from Saturday February 24, it has been confirmed.

Night games had initially been scrapped for the rest of the month after the Catania riots resulted in the death of a police officer.

However, floodlight ties will start again when Chievo entertain Torino in their Week 25 encounter in Verona. That game will kick off at 1800 hours local time (-1hr for UK Time).

Later that evening, at 20.30, Atalanta and Palermo will face each other at the Stadio Renzo Barbera. The Sunday night game will see Milan host Sampdoria at the San Siro.

Serie B matches will once again resume with the weekend matches spread over Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Monday night.
