Salvatore Bocchetti has joined Rubin Kazan on a three-and-a-half-year deal from Genoa.
The Russian side have reportedly spent 10million euros to land Bocchetti, who made 60 appearances for Genoa during a two-year spell.
An accomplished performer who can play at left-back or centre-half, Bocchetti has also been capped five times by Italy.
He was part of the Azzurri squad that went to the FIFA World Cup in South Africa and will now be looking to take his game to the next level with the Russian champions.
