After prolonged negotiations, Roma have reached an agreement with Serie A rivals Inter to re-sign defender Nicolas Burdisso for 8million euros.
The 29-year-old has penned a four-year contract, having impressed during a season-long loan with the Giallorossi last term during which he scored twice in 33 league appearances.
Confirmation of the move comes two weeks after Roma secured the services of Burdisso's younger brother, 22-year-old Guillermo, on loan from Rosario Central with a view to a permanent move next summer.
Roma start their Serie A season on Saturday at home to promoted Cesena.
