Juventus avoided any upset against Shamrock Rovers with a 2-0 win over the Irish outfit in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League third qualifying round tie.
Two goals from Amauri gave the Bianconeri a first-leg advantage to take back home next week after a hard-fought victory at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin.
Amauri silenced the home fans with the opener after just three minutes and he added a second 15 minutes from time with a header.
If Luigi Delneri's side can complete the job at the Stadio Alberto Braglia in Modena on August 5, they will join fellow Serie A qualifiers Napoli and Palermo in the Play-off Round of the Europa League.
