Cagliari have snapped up Modena midfielder Alex Pinardi.
The 29-year-old is Cagliari's first signing since Pierpaolo Bisoli took charge of the Sardinian outfit.
Pinardi has signed a two-year contract and will add creativity to an already technically gifted midfield.
"After four years in Serie B, Cagliari remembered me and they are giving me a great opportunity," Pinardi said.
"I am back in Serie A and I cannot but thank the club, not to mention the fact that Cagliari has always been a city that I have liked."
