[UCL] Impressive Inter stun Barca

Goals from Wesley Sneijder, Douglas Maicon and Diego Milito helped Inter stun holders Barcelona 3-1 in their UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg.

Inter 3-1 Barcelona
Inter produced a fine first-leg display as they came from behind to beat holders Barcelona 3-1 and take control of their UEFA Champions League semi-final. Barca went ahead at the San Siro when Maxwell's left-wing cross found Pedro Rodriguez to slot in. Inter levelled as Wesley Sneijder fired in right-footed from a Diego Milito pass and Milito then teed up Douglas Maicon to control and slam home to make it 2-1. Milito, who missed two clear chances either side of Pedro's goal, nodded in after Sneijder miscued a header to put Nerazzurri firmly in charge. The result gives Jose Mourinho's side great encouragement ahead of next Wednesday's return as they dream of a first European crown since 1965.
