Serie A - Week 26: Saturday Review

Keirrison struck a last-gasp equaliser for Fiorentina as they held Lazio to a 1-1 draw while Catania boosted their survival chances with a 4-0 crushing of Bari.

Lazio 1-1 Fiorentina
Lazio's hopes of climbing five points clear of the relegation zone in Serie A were dashed in added time as Keirrison struck an equaliser for Fiorentina in a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Olimpico. The capital club, fourth from bottom in the standings, had led since the seventh minute when Sebastiano Siviglia's inspired back-heeled volley from a corner found the net and appeared set to claim just their second win in eight league games until Keirrison replied from close range two minutes into stoppage time. The result keeps Fiorentina in mid-table but Lazio are looking over their shoulders more nervously than ever, now just three points clear of the drop zone.

Catania 4-0 Bari
Catania put some daylight between themselves and the bottom three of Serie A with an impressive 4-0 win over Bari. Adrian Ricchiuti put the Sicilians ahead after just four minutes and Cristian Llama doubled their lead five minutes before half-time with a splendid goal. Paulo Barreto could have had a hat-trick for Bari but he missed a penalty after 64 minutes before goals from Takayuki Morimoto and Jorge Martinez sealed the win for the Rosazzurri in the last 10 minutes.
