Fiorentina have reached an agreement with Porto for Argentine midfielder Mario Bolatti.
The 24-year-old has also agreed personal terms with the club and is set to complete the move after undergoing a medical at the Serie A outfit.
Bolatti impressed during a successful loan stint at Huracan during the 2009 season, attracting interest from a number of clubs across Europe.
The club's official statement said: "Fiorentina have announced that they have reached an agreement with Porto for the purchase of midfielder Mario Ariel Bolatti, born in 1985.
"This agreement was also reached with the player. The acquisition will be formalised after the results of medical examinations."
Bolatti is another sigging in a busy transfer market for the Tuscans, who have also brought in Adem Ljajic from Partizan Belgrade and defender Felipe from Udinese, whilst offloading Jose Castillo and Dario Dainelli.
