The Under-17 international has been on Fiorentina's radar for a number of months and they have now pushed through a deal with his club Grasshopper.The Viola confirmed on their website that they had agreed terms and that the 17-year-old would be presented to the media early next week.
It is reported the Tuscans pushed through a deal for Seferovic due to Adrian Mutu's impending ban for another drug test, but it remains to be seen whether he will be drafted straight into the first-team squad.
Seferovic was one of the star players as Switzerland Under-17s triumphed in the recent FIFA Under 17-World Cup in Nigeria.
