Juventus have signed Antonio Candreva on loan from Udinese, with a view to making the switch permanent in June.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who has spent the past year and a half on loan at Livorno, was at the top of Juve's list of transfer targets.
"Juventus and Udinese have reached an agreement for the transfer of Antonio Candreva to the Bianconeri until the end of the season," read a statement from the club.
"The player will join on loan but the club have the right to buy half of the player's sporting rights."
Candreva has made 52 appearances for Livorno since joining the Tuscan outfit in the summer of 2008, helping the Amaranto secure a return to Serie A last season.
The Rome-born player, who earned a senior international debut for Italy in November against the Netherlands, could make his debut in Saturday's crucial match against Roma in Turin.
