Serie A - Week 11: Saturday Review

Napoli edged a thriller against Juventus on Saturday to put a serious dent in the Bianconeri's title assault.

NapoliElsewhere, AC Milan are up to fourth in the Serie A standings after they saw off Parma.

Juventus had been hoping to close within a point of league leaders Inter, but slipped to a 3-2 defeat against Napoli.

The Turin giants established a two-goal lead at Stadio Olimpico, with David Trezeguet and Sebsatian Giovinco putting them firmly in control of proceedings.

However, for the second time in as many weeks, Napoli staged a dramatic second half fight back.

They reduced their arrears shortly after falling two down through Marek Hamsik. Jesus Datolo then grabbed a deserved leveller after 64 minutes and Hamsik's seventh goal of the season stole the points nine minutes from time.

Amauri saw red for Juve in stoppage time to complete a forgettable night for the hosts.

Resurgent Napoli now sit fifth in the table and will harbour ambitions of claiming a UEFA Champions League berth.

AC Milan are the side they are chasing after Leonardo's men saw off Parma 2-0 at Giuseppe Meazza to move into the top four.

Marco Borriello bagged a brace for the Rossoneri during a lacklustre encounter.

He opened the scoring after 12 minutes, but was forced to wait until second half stoppage time before wrapping things up.

Milan will now head into their crunch Champions League meeting with Real Madrid in midweek in buoyant mood.
