Fiorentina have completed the signing of Lorenzo De Silvestri from Serie A rivals Lazio.
De Silvestri has left Lazio after recently falling out with club President Claudio Lotito.
The Italy Under-21 international has agreed a four-deal with Fiorentina after Lazio agreed to pay a reported fee of around 5.5million euros for his signature.
"Fiorentina announce they have bought the rights to the sporting services of the footballer Lorenzo De Silvestri," read a Fiorentina statement.
De Silvestri will not be able to make his Fiorentina debut until mid-September, as he is currently recovering from a knee injury.
De Silvestri was one of three players to fall out with Lotito, and reports claim that the other two - Goran Pandev and Cristian Ledesma - could also soon be sold.
It is claimed that Lazio are looking to offer Pandev and Ledesma in exchange for Udinese's Italian international midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino.
