Udinese have completed the double signing of Paolo Sammarco and Francesco Lodi.
Midfielder Sammarco joins the North-East club on a season-long loan from Serie A rivals Sampdoria, with an option to buy out half his contract.
Striker Lodi has also joined on loan from Serie B promotion hopefuls Empoli, with the Bianconeri having an option of making the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Pasquale Marino's side have been busy in the summer transfer market with the arrivals of Bernardo Corradi, Jose Carlos Alemao, Jaime Romero Gomez, Leandro Caruso, Fabian Orellana, Rafael Romo amongst others.
