Roma have signed Argentinian defender Nicolas Burdisso on loan for the season from champions Inter.
The 28-year-old centre-back joined Inter in 2004 from Boca Juniors and, despite never being a first-choice for the Nerazzurri, played 94 games in five Serie A seasons, winning the Scudetto four times.
"It is all done, I'm a Roma player," he said earlier."I'm packing my bags and coming to Rome to sign."
Roma will begin their 2009/10 Serie A campaign away at Genoa on Sunday night and Burdisso is hoping the agreement has been pushed through in time to feature in that contest.
The Giallorossi were held 3-3 at Slovakian outfit Kosice in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League play-off on Thursday.
