Parma have beaten Serie A rivals Napoli and Palermo to the signing of Blerim Dzemaili from Torino.
The Swiss international has agreed a season-long loan deal with Parma with the option of a permanent move.
Dzemaili endured an injury-ravaged time at English outfit Bolton Wanderers after signing from Zurich, but the midfielder impressed during an initial loan spell at Toro that was made permanent at the end of last season.
A number of clubs expressed an interest in signing Dzemaili, but Parma have struck a deal to bring the 23-year-old to the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
Striker Daniele Vantaggiato has moved in the opposite direction – also on loan – as part of the deal.
Meanwhile, Parma have also secured the signing of 18-year-old Bosnian forward Dragan Mihajlovic from Swiss outfit Bellinzona.
