Fiorentina have reached an agreement with Juventus for the joint ownership of midfielder Marco Marchionni.
Marchionni will now play for the Viola next season, provided he can agree personal terms, after the two clubs struck an accord.
Reports in Italy suggest that Juve could now open negotiations with their Serie A rivals in a bid to bring Felipe Melo in the opposite direction.
The Brazil international, who has also been linked with a switch to English Premier League giants Arsenal, insists he is happy at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina have also confirmed the signing of defender Cesare Natali from Torino for a reported fee of 2million euros.
The 30-year-old has agreed a three-year contract with the Viola after two seasons with Torino where he appeared in 50 top-flight games, but could not prevent the club's relegation to Serie B last term.
