[Mercato] Udinese set D'Agostino price

Udinese have placed a 17 million euro valuation on Juventus target Gaetano D'Agostino.

Gaetano D'AgostinoNegotiations between the clubs in the last month for the transfer of the Italy international to Turin have failed with Udinese claiming Juve are not offering enough money.

"Juventus are asking for a great player," Udinese general director Sergio Gasparin told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"There are few midfielders in Italy like him, perhaps only (AC Milan midfielder) Andrea Pirlo in his position.

"Negotiation can be reopened provided Juve value the player as a champion, which he is.

"Udinese have valued the player for at least 17 million euros."

Earlier in the week Udinese gave Juve a deadline of July 6 to buy D'Agostino or drop their interest.

The 27-year-old has also been linked with a move to AC Milan and Liverpool but the player recently admitted he would fancy a move to Juve.
