Valeri Bojinov joined the newly-promoted Serie A side on loan from Manchester City earlier on Thursday and Panucci has now joined on a free transfer.The veteran defender, 36, arrives on a one-year deal following his departure from Roma earlier in the summer.
He will be hoping to help Parma in their first season back in the top flight and director Pietro Leonardi is confident he will make a vital contribution.
"Panucci is a great player," said Leonardi. "He is a veteran and will be very useful to our cause."
