Roma have issued a hands-off warning to Real Madrid over midfielder Daniele De Rossi.
Spanish newspaper Marca have claimed that Madrid are preparing to make a 30million euro bid for the Italy international.
But Roma sporting director Daniele Prade told Corriere dello Sport: "It's obvious that De Rossi will stay.
"It would be very easy for us to put him up for sale as there would be a queue of clubs ready to sign him.
"But his stay proves his attachment to the (club owners) Sensi family and to these colours."
De Rossi, who was also a reported target of English Premier League giants Chelsea this summer, made 33 league appearances for the Giallorossi last season.
The Rome-born player is under contract with the Eternal City giants until June 2012.
