The 'Total 90 Ascente' will be used in the Serie A and Serie B championships this coming season, as well as in the Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana and in all of the Primavera youth competitions.It was presented at the Lega Calcio's headquarters in Milan by the Lega's extraordinary commisioner Giancarlo Abete and by Nike's General Manager in Italy, Andrea Rossi.
The new Nike ball, which will be used in England's Premier League and Spain's Primera Liga with different designs, will make its Italian debut on August 8 when Serie A champions Inter and Coppa Italia holders Lazio meet in the 2009 Super Cup final in Beijing, China.
